Royal Saloon Coffee & Cake 

With this ticket, you are welcome to travel on any of the timetabled services that day in standard class - however, for the departure listed on your ticket, you join us for one return trip aboard the Great Eastern Railway Saloon No.5, built in 1898 for Princess Alexandra.  During your journey, you'll be served coffee and cake at your table.

Unfortunately, due its age and method of construction, we are sorry but the Royal Saloon is not accessible to wheelchair users. Due to space limitations in the Royal Saloon kitchen we regret we are unable to cater for any special dietary requirements. 

Tickets are non-refundable. Double check your Selected Session date & time before progressing.  No refunds will be made for cancellations or non-arrivals.

Your seats will only be valid on the specified service on your ticket, so please ensure you leave enough time to board the train. Please arrive at Preston Riverside Station at least half an hour before your booked departure. Boarding of the Royal Saloon will start 15 minutes before departure. Don't forget, your ticket also allows you access to all other timetabled services at Ribble Steam Railway that day in standard class accommodation.
