TICKET PURCHASE POLICY
When you receive your tickets, please keep them in a safe place. Please note that direct sunlight or heat can sometimes damage tickets. Tickets purchased on ribblesteam.merlintickets.co.uk may be subject to a per ticket service charge and a non-refundable per order processing fee.
If ordered, physical printed tickets will be posted weekly by Ribble Steam Railway Ltd. Please allow up to 14 days for your tickets to arrive. Tickets ordered between 7-14 days prior to the event will be posted 1st class. Tickets ordered 7 days or less prior to the event will be held for collection. If you have not received your tickets within 48 hours of travel and are not aware that tickets are being held for you for collection at the railway, please contact Ribble Steam Railway as soon as possible.
Occasionally, services may be cancelled or rescheduled for a variety of reasons. If the service is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the service was moved or rescheduled, Ribble Steam Railway Ltd may set refund limitations. Contact us for exact instructions.
For information about a purchase you've made, contact us, quoting your confirmation code given to you at the conclusion of placing an order.
Tickets may be restricted to a maximum number per person, per credit/debit card and, for some services a restriction may apply per household. We reserve the right to cancel tickets without prior notice if purchased in excess if this limit.
TICKET TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This ticket is issued subject to the Rules and Regulations of the Ribble Steam Railway Ltd. Full details are available on request.
Please check your tickets as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to ascertain whether a service has been cancelled and the date and time of any rearranged service. If a service is cancelled or rescheduled, we will use reasonable endeavours to notify ticket holders of the cancellation once we have received the relevant authorisation from the Ribble Steam Railway Ltd. Please note that we cannot guarantee that ticket holders will be informed of such cancellation before the date of travel.
The Ribble Steam Railway reserves the right to refuse admission should patrons breach any Rules and Regulations of the Ribble Steam Railway Ltd. The Ribble Steam Railway Ltd may on occasions have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
Changes to bookings are subject to availability and are at Ribble Steam Railways discretion. The Ribble Steam Railway Ltd and Online Ticketing cannot be held responsible for any tickets which are lost or stolen. Online Ticketing reserves the right to cancel ticket bookings which it reasonably suspects to have been made fraudulently.
Any changes or approved cancellations to bookings are subject to a £5 processing fee.
We are unable to hold trains for late passengers. Customers are advised to arrive a minimum of half an hour prior to their departure.
If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than Ribble Steam Railway Ltd. or Online Ticketing, it may be voided and the holder may be refused travel.
The Ribble Steam Railway operates a strict No Smoking policy, including eCigs, on the trains.
The Ribble Steam Railway Ltd. and Online Ticketing accept no responsibility for any personal property.
Ticket holders consent to filming and sound recording as visitors.
If a service is rescheduled, ticket holders will be offered tickets to the rescheduled service, equivalent to the face value of the ticket. If a service is cancelled, ticket holders will be offered travel on an alternative service (subject to availability) up to the value on the ticket.
All of these terms and conditions are governed by English Law.
The ticket holder must comply with all relevant statutes, safety announcements and Ribble Steam Railway Ltd regulations whilst traveling.
Breach of any of these conditions or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall enable the railway to refuse to carry you as a passenger.
The Ribble Steam Railway Ltd does not guarantee that the trains will arrive or depart at the times stated and reserves the right to cancel, alter or suspend any train without notice, or to substitute a different engine should this be necessary for whatever reason.
Your customer details will only be used for the the marketing purposes of the Ribble Steam Railway Ltd and will not be passed to any Third Party Company for marketing use.
